A leading open-source integrator with complex multi-company setups. Trobz handled a sequential multi-version upgrade, ensuring module compatibility and CI pipeline stability across each hop.

Complex custom module ecosystem maintained
Zero downtime with parallel environment testing

Demeter

Version 7.0 → 11.0 → 16.0

The Global Standard for Biodynamic Agriculture

Demeter International — the world's largest biodynamic certification network — needed to leap from Odoo 7 to modern versions. Trobz executed this in two phases over several years.

Founded in 1928 in Germany, Demeter International is the first and largest certifying body for biodynamic products worldwide — 46 member organizations across 36 countries, over 6,500 certified farmers, and products available in more than 65 countries.

1

1st Upgrade: 7.0 → 11.0

Started January 2018, go-live October 2019. Incremental approach — records continuously synchronized until go-live.

2

2nd Upgrade: 11.0 → 16.0

Started June 2023, go-live March 2025. One-shot approach — production stopped (~20h process).

Technical Challenges
